Friendly Center Service Guild Garage Sale – August 6-11

The Greatest Garage Sale Ever sponsored by The Friendly Center Service Guild

This amazing annual event occurs at Epworth United Methodist Church, 3077 Drive at Central Avenue, near Wildwood Metro Park. On Monday and Tuesday (August 6 and 7) carloads and truckloads of items are needed from churches and families residing in Northwest Ohio. Faithful servants continue their sorting, organizing and pricing thousands of items on Wednesday (August 8).

Items for donating and sale include men’s, women’s, and children’s clothes and accessories: toys; books; small furniture, dishes and other house wares plus holiday items and décor.

Then we have the actual garage sale which runs Thursday and Friday (August 9 and 10) from 9am to 5pm and we finish on Saturday 9am to noon (August 11) with a special bag sale.

How can you help you might be asking? Here are some ways: drop off your items you no longer use or need on August 6 and 7; spend a couple hours helping with the sorting and organizing of the items at Epworth; come back and shop on August 9, 10 or 11.
