New Identity for the Friendly Center

We are pleased to announce The Friendly Center has a new logo which was developed by a unique combination of North Toledo students and residents, The Friendly Center Staff and corporate assistance. Early in 2011 we decided The Friendly Center logo needed to be updated to reflect the direction and outreach plus our desire to communicate we are a faith-based organization.

The logo creation process began in the spring of 2011. Woodward High School’s art class was contacted and asked for their ideas since they were familiar with both The Friendly Center and the North Toledo corridor. They responded with nine students each designing a logo for our review. The Friendly Center marketing team selected three logos for consideration and shared these with The Friendly Center staff and North Toledo residents visiting the Center. From the input we received on the three logos, we then worked with the creative services team at Owens Corning to develop the finished artwork.
