On two consecutive Saturday mornings in April, Global Youth Services partnered with the Friendly Center to complete beautification projects in the North Toledo neighborhood.   We had 148 volunteers help with trash and graffiti removal.  The participants included youth groups from three churches - North Dover, Trinity Faith and Sylvania First.  In addition significant support was provided by University and Summit YMCA, United North, Aurora Project, CITE, Vistula Block Watch, Volunteers of America, Friendly Center Staff and Service Guild, and North Toledo Boys and Girls Club.   This fantastic group of volunteers did a great service plus had an opportunity to have a lunch together afterwards to honor their dedicated efforts.
